Some yatras ask more of you. This is one of them.
Kedarnath stands deep in the Himalayas, at an altitude where the air itself reminds you that you are not in an ordinary place. Reaching it requires a trek of around 16–18 kilometres, where the terrain, weather, and altitude shape the experience as much as the destination itself.
Badrinath, further along, offers a different kind of presence. Set along the Alaknanda river, it is more accessible, more structured, yet still deeply rooted in the Char Dham tradition.
