Package Overview

Journey across the island once known as Lanka on this seven-day Ramayana trail. From the Seetha Amman Temple at the legendary Ashok Vatika to the Ravana caves and the ancient temples where Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva, experience the living legacy of the great epic amid Sri Lanka’s lush hills and scenic coast.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Colombo

Arrive in Colombo and assemble at the hotel. Visit the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara and the Anjaneyar (Hanuman) Temple. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 02: Colombo – Chilaw – Kandy

Visit the Munneswaram and Manavari Temples, where Lord Rama is said to have worshipped Lord Shiva. Proceed to Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 03: Kandy

Darshan at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and visit Ramayana-linked sites. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 04: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Drive to the hill country. Visit the Seetha Amman Temple (the Ashok Vatika), Hakgala Gardens, Divurumpola, and the Gayathri Peetham. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya

Visit the Ravana Falls and the Ravana Cave, associated with King Ravana’s kingdom. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 06: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

Return to Colombo with time for leisure and shopping. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 07: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
